An Effective Business Proposal Format

A typical business proposal format has the purpose to address the common grounds of a proposal. Whenever you set out to compose a proposal, you may choose to write it in a standard format, for example if the client you are proposing to didn't provide you with a particular plan to follow.

The most effective business proposal format establishes a dialogue with its readers, and that's why the winning proposal structure is based upon it.

Generally the proposal format is presented with six sections, each responding to key aspects.

An Effective Business Proposal Format

The first section contains information on who will carry out the job, the name of a contact person, and finally the person in charge for the set tasks.

The next section draws out what is needed to be done. The first thing you certainly need to clarify for your client is that you perfectly understand his pains and requirements. Actually this section is to convince your prospect that you have a good command of what he is willing to achieve.

The typical business proposal format also outlines the way in which you can meet these requirements - present your solution. This is the most essential point of your proposal.

Furthermore goes an action plan. It includes the set of actions which are to be performed, monitoring and evaluation of the costs and outcomes, and the most important - benefits to the customer. Business often views a risk factor, so the standard business proposal format also highlights how the possible risks will be lessened.

The next part of the business proposal format includes time frameworks - when the project will get started, when the task will be fulfilled, and when the expenses are expected.

In the end, remember that the main concept of any proposal is to explain to the client that the proposing company perfectly understands all his needs and requirements, as well as to persuade him to accept the proposal. The format is not accomplished unless it outlines the reasons why the potential client should go for proposed solutions.

At any rate, a successful business proposal format starts with a compelling structure for your proposal that actually sells your ideas and solutions. Thus by following the above mentioned tips, your business proposal is halfway from a success. Nowadays there are many services that help you to optimize the process of making proposals. But the knowledge of how to write it should always be with you.

Bangkok is the capital city of Thailand and nearly all travelers going to Thailand will pass through this popular Thai travel destination. A number of different airlines offer multiple flights a day from one of the Bangkok airports to Phuket International Airport.

Pattaya

Pattaya is the beach resort area which is closest located to Bangkok which is why many local Bangkok residents visit Pattaya during weekends. The beach at Pattaya is actually not very impressive when compared to the beaches found on Phuket or Samui however the beach is not the primary reason why Pattaya is one of the most popular travel destinations in Thailand. The biggest attraction for many visitors is in fact the lively nightlife which can be found in Pattaya. There are thousands of beer bars and other type of Pattaya nightlife venues where tourists can mingle with the lovely Thai girls that work in these establishments. The fastest way to reach Pattaya from Bangkok is by car. A taxi from Bangkok to Pattaya will cost you around 1200 THB.

Samui

Samui is a beautiful tropical island which is located off the east coast of Thailand. The beaches on Samui are even more beautiful then those found on Phuket. The most popular Samui beaches are all located on the east coast of Koh Samui and are Chaweng beach, Lamai beach and Big Buddha beach. If you are looking for a resort area on Samui which offers plenty of activities and plenty of nightlife venues then be sure to book a hotel or resort in Chaweng beach. Both Thai Airways and Bangkok Airways offer several daily flights from Bangkok to Samui.

Chiang Mai

Chiang Mai offers travelers a different type of holiday experience then what those travelers visiting one of the beach destinations experience. Chiang Mai is located in the mountains in the North of Thailand. Chiang Mai is a great destination for those travelers that would really like to experience Thai culture and the cultures of the hill tribes. If you enjoy the nature then Chiang Mai is a great choice as there are various great attractions in and around Chiang Mai such as trekking, rafting, elephant riding and visits to the nearby hill tribes. A number of different airlines offer several flights per day to Chiang Mai from either one of the Bangkok airports. The best time to visit Chiang Mai is during Song Kran which is the Thai New Year festival.

Foreclosure Hardship Letter - Sample For Bank Loss Mitigation Department

A foreclosure hardship letter is an integral part of Loan Modification or Short Sale package. When homeowners are facing foreclosure, these documents are submitted to the Loss Mitigation Department of the mortgage lender. Loan modifications are offered to homeowners who have the financial ability to become current on delinquent payments. Short sales are offered to homeowners who do not have the financial means to pay their mortgage payments. Lenders who accept short sales offers agree to accept less than is owed on the mortgage note.

For most people, the foreclosure hardship letter is the most difficult aspect of loan modification or short sale procedures. It can be excruciatingly painful to express on paper the circumstances which caused the homeowner to fall behind on their mortgage payments. Many people are intimidated by the hardship letter. They don't know what to say or how to format the letter so it is easy to read and understand.

Keep in mind, foreclosures and short sales are handled by the Loss Mitigation Department of your lender. Employees of this department are referred to as Loss Mitigators. Before you can submit a loan modification or short sale package, you must receive approval from the Loss Mitigator assigned to your account.

Foreclosure Hardship Letter - Sample For Bank Loss Mitigation Department

More than likely, you will have ample opportunities to personally speak to the Loss Mitigator handling your account. These individuals deal with homeowners in financial distress on a daily basis. Take advantage of building a relationship with your assigned mitigator and ask questions to help you better understand what your mitigator expects. Loss mitigators can make or break your deal, so always treat them with respect and provide them the information they request.

Your foreclosure hardship letter will be read by your personal loss mitigator. Realize these individuals receive dozens of hardship letters daily. Therefore, it is crucial to keep your letter short and to the point, while covering pertinent facts.

When composing your hardship letter you can either write it by hand or type it. If your handwriting is illegible, it is best to type the letter or have someone else write it for you. The foreclosure hardship letter is one of the most crucial elements of your loan modification or short sale package, so take every precaution to ensure the Loss Mitigator can easily read and understand it.

Real estate experts recommend using a business format for the foreclosure hardship letter. This involves placing your name, address, city, zip and phone number at the top of the page. Leave two spaces, then write the name of your loss mitigator, name of your mortgage lender, along with their mailing address. The next line should include the current date. Place your loan number underneath the date. The body of the letter should be between four and six paragraphs. Close the letter by signing and printing your name.

The following is an example of the foreclosure hardship letter. You can make adjustments to the text depending on if you are seeking a loan modification or short sale arrangement.

Dear Mr. Jones,

We are contacting you today to request a (loan modification or short sale) for our property located at (insert address, city, state). We appreciate the opportunity to explain the circumstances which have caused us to fall behind on our mortgage payments. Although we have done everything possible to improve our financial situation, we are still short on the money owed to you.

The reason we have become delinquent in our mortgage payments is (explain the reason here). At this time we do not have enough income to pay our regular monthly mortgage payment. We are concerned that we are falling further behind and will not be able to pay what is owed. We have every intention of paying what is owed, but at this time do not know how to accomplish this. Therefore, we are turning to you for assistance.

We are asking for consideration to temporarily reduce or suspend our mortgage payments for a few months (or allow us to sell our home via a short sale). Doing so, would help us get back on track. Our home means a great deal to us and we desire to work with you to keep it out of foreclosure. Please advise of all options available to stop foreclosure (or initiate a short sale) at your earliest convenience. We are anxious to reach an agreement and appreciate your prompt response.

Respectfully yours,

Cover Letter Sample -- For the Corporate Flight Attendant

Writing a cover letter to send with your résumé can be both confusing and frustrating. What exactly should you say? Are you saying too much? Are you only speaking about your needs vs. the company's needs? Oh, what to do! In this "short" piece, I will list some ideas on how to craft your cover letter. I have also provided some important links -- for additional assistance -- particularly if you find yourself still needing outside help.

Basics

* Make sure you use exactly the same type of paper you use for your résumé. White with white is best, business paper is strongly advised, especially paper containing 100% cotton. Cheap 20 lb. copier paper is a terrible idea!

Cover Letter Sample -- For the Corporate Flight Attendant

* A matching business envelope #10 is acceptable. Tri-fold your copies separately; when you place the cover letter inside the envelope, make sure that the letter is shown first [when you lift the flap of the envelope up] followed by your résumé. Fold it so that your name and contact information is the first thing the recruiter sees. If you choose to use a kraft envelope make sure that is no smaller than 9x12 or bigger than 10x13. Place an attractive computer generated label on it with your return address shown appropriately. If you must write on it, PRINT your information and do not be fancy. Remember: you want the post office and the company's mailroom to be able to read what you wrote! Otherwise, important time may be lost in the process.

* If you are emailing your information make sure that the job listing stipulates that attachments are okay. If not, don't you dare send attachments! Instead, within the body of an email message you can write your cover letter [a brief introduction] and then cut and paste your résumé. I cannot tell you how many files never get read when the person does not do as instructed. You can also follow up and mail in a hard [paper] copy if an address is provided.

Beginnings

* Match the header on your résumé with the header on your cover letter. They can and do get separated! An example header should look like this:

Jane Doe

14 Star Lane

Smithville, NC 27777 USA

Telephone: 919-555-1212

Cell Phone: 919-555-1213

Email: jdoe@nc.rrs.com

* Include your personal website address only if that information is valuable. If you host a site that is weird, inflammatory, adult oriented, or otherwise controversial, simply do not expect any response from the company.

* Put today's date on the cover letter.

* Next, include your contact's information, which can include:

Ms. Ellen Snow

Human Resources Coordinator

FlyByNight Aviation, Inc.

1234 Orville Wright Lane

Serendipity, NC 27776

* Your salutation comes next and should look like this

-- Dear Ms. Snow:

Body

* Keep in mind that your cover letter must not be lengthy. You can say all that must be said in no more than three, maybe four, brief paragraphs.

* Here is a sample:

Attached, please find a copy of my résumé for your review. I am interested in the position of corporate flight attendant listed online at http://www.flybynight.com.

I believe my three years of international flying experience along with my culinary background and language skills makes me the ideal candidate to serve FlyByNight's distinguished clientele. Currently, I work as an independent contractor and have flown to top destinations in Europe as well as throughout the U.S. and Canada. FlyByNight's need for a dependable, trained, and highly experienced team player is exactly the type of position I desire.

I look forward to meeting with you in person to discuss your particular needs and how I can help FlyByNight successfully carry out its mission as the best operator of private jets in the world. Feel free to contact me at your earliest convenience; I can be reached at 919-555-1212 or by on cell phone at 919-555-1213.

Byes

* Sincerely,

Jane Doe

Leave 3-4 lines from your "Sincerely" to your name. Your closing shouldn't include other words including Regards [too plain], Cheers! [too British], Love [too personal], etc. Remember, this is a business letter.

In summation, keep it short and specific. Have three or four main points you can emphasize about your strengths, particularly, those points which match with the points listed by the company in their job details. In this particular case the candidate emphasized her culinary, language, and international travel experience, as well as her availability. All four points were stressed in the company's job listing which read:

"...international jet operator is searching for an experienced cabin attendant. This position involves serving our on demand charter clients from east coast locations to destinations in the U.S. and abroad. Must have exceptional food service skills. Current training with FACTS, FlightSafety or similar training vendor; French or Spanish language skills: a plus...

You cannot avoid talking about yourself, but you can control how you talk about yourself.

Do not...

1. ...beg for an interview.

2. ...mention money or benefits. If the job listing "demands" that you list your salary requirements, simply state that salary is negotiable.

3. ...overly boast about your skills: think about what the company's needs are, do you think they care that you were the recipient of an NBAA scholarship? It is, however, okay to list scholarship awards on your résumé.

4. ...name drop. Unless, you already come highly recommended by someone they know and like. Your mentor may be well known in this industry, but not universally liked. You can use them on your list of references, however.

Tying it all together, this is what your cover letter could look like:

Jane Doe

14 Star Lane

Smithville, NC 27777 USA

Telephone: 919-555-1212

Cell Phone: 919-555-1213

Email: jdoe@nc.rrs.com

Personal Support Worker Resume Tips & Tricks

We've all created a resume at one point or another. But which tips and tricks can turn a Personal Support Worker Resume from one that merely gets read to one that gets you hired?

Resume: A quick refresh

A resume is an advertisement, plain and simple. The product or service that is being advertised is you. The purpose behind the document is to make yourself stand out to the employer and have them grant you a job interview.

Personal Support Worker Resume Tips & Tricks

Onto the Personal Support Worker Resume

What can help set you apart from other applicants is a strong resume bias towards your skills, experience and education. Since the large majority of this job is dealing with the public, having strong references is also of key importance.

Skills

PSW skills are mostly outlined in text-books and in your course materials. "Flexible, works well with others, problem solving, etc" are all common examples of some skills that you can list. You may also want to include a few job specific examples such as "familiar with body mechanics, warning signs and dealing with different personality types."

Experience

Since PSW courses in Ontario require on the job placement, each and every student will have some experience to place upon their resume. A quick tip for current or perspective students. If you are offered the ability to change workplaces in the middle of your co-op then do so. Even if the first placement is everything you were hoping for, the additional placement will help to pad your PSW experience on your resume. Attempt to stick to "more adult" employment positions, unless you absolutely need to use your old paper route or baby sitting as padding.

Education

For education list your personal support worker certificate and high school graduation. They will assume that you made it through elementary school. If you collected an awards along the way include those as well.

References

This section can really go a long way in helping you secure a job. A tip is to use individuals that you got along with at your placement as references. This may be fuzzy in terms of honesty, but you can always say that a co-worker at the placement was "in-charge" of your training and day to day activities. Using a person that knows you is preferable vs using a manager that you had little contact with.

Sample Restaurant Floor Plans - Find the Right Set Up For Your Restaurant

In planning the layout of your restaurant, one good place to start is with any franchise restaurant. These establishments spend a lot of time, and a money, and resources determining the most profitable ways to set up and run their restaurants. Using their layout suggestions in your sample restaurant floor plans is an excellent place to start. There are certain ways that the restaurant floor plan can be most optimized for drive through and for dine in traffic, and ways that the kitchen area floor plan can be used to maximum benefit.

Some restaurants benefit from having their dine in areas strictly controlled, by using crowd control lines and the like, to restrict access by customers to the order and pick up areas. These are the kinds of restaurants that usually have at least one set of doors on each side, and a solid store front. These places are able to have many different kinds of seating configurations, benches, tables, and booths.

Other restaurants are able to encourage customer interaction with the staff by having an easily accessible counter where customers can approach at will. Such restaurant will have sample floor plans with open spaces that are used at will by both customers and employees. Your sample restaurant floor plans should take these possibilities into consideration.

Sample Restaurant Floor Plans - Find the Right Set Up For Your Restaurant

One floor plan that should be avoided at all costs is the store that is configured with an exit door that opens directly onto a drive through lane. This is a situation that is just a liability waiting for an excuse to happen. Either the oblivious customer on foot , chatting away on their cell phone who doesn't notice the oncoming car, or the drive through diner in a hurry to get back to work who doesn't notice the pedestrian directly in front of them, there is just no way that something isn't going to eventually happen. Find another location for your door, do not place it where pedestrian and vehicle traffic mix in any way.

In American society today, it is also vital not to have only seating spaces that can accommodate people of average size. Especially in restaurants, it is of absolute importance to have seats on which persons of size can both make themselves comfortable and not do damage to the seats. Keeping in mind that people come in all sizes, and that having your seating be able to accommodate all those sizes is an important part of sample restaurant floor plans. Allow for larger size seating; you may have less total available seats, but you will have more comfortable and accessible seats.

Restaurant floor plans should also take into consideration the cleaning needs. Tables that cannot easily be moved for cleaning, sweeping, mopping and vacuuming will cause employee non-compliance with proper cleaning procedures, and lead to both customer dissatisfaction and possible food borne illness if cleaning is not up to standards. In addition, forms of floor covering that are difficult to clean or maintain should be avoided in the sample restaurant floor plans. It should be easy to completely and adequately clean around the furniture and keep the floor of a restaurant in good condition. When the final restaurant is conceived and built, it will be more easily maintained and much more profitable in the end.

Sample Dispute Letter For the Credit Bureaus - Equifax, Transunion and Experian

Writing a letter to the credit bureaus is the first and most important step to repairing your credit. When writing to the credit bureaus you will have to write a letter to each bureau per negative and/or incorrect item.

An example of a situation in which you would have to write a credit repair letter to the credit bureau(s) is if you are analyzing your credit report and you see accounts that are closed, negative, and more than seven years old. According to the Fair Credit Reporting Act, accounts that are older than seven years must be deleted from your account.

Remember when you write a letter to the credit bureau you want it to be yours. Copy and pasting a letter from another website is not recommended! A sample of a good credit repair letter looks like this:

Sample Dispute Letter For the Credit Bureaus - Equifax, Transunion and Experian

Equifax Consumer Services

To Whom it may Concern,

Good Afternoon my Name is First Last. My address is 9999 Address street, City, State. My SSN 999-99-9999 and my birth date is January 01, 1900.

I have critically analyzed a copy of my credit report and I noticed that there are two accounts on my report have been closed for seven years. As you and I both know the Fair Credit Reporting Act states that accounts more than seven years old are to be deleted from my credit report.

Listed below are the details of the accounts that I mentioned above:

Bank of America MasterCard:
Account Number: XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-1745

HSBC VISA
Account Number XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-5690

In order to expedite this process I included a copy of my driver's license and social security card in case you all need proof of identity. I would also appreciate it if you would send me a copy of my updated credit report once the correction as been made.

Thank you in advance.
Sincerely,
First Last

When sending your letter to the credit bureaus you want to include a copy of your driver's license with your letter. Please do not forget to send your letter registered mail. By doing this you allow your letter to be tracked. That way you have proof when it was received by the credit bureaus.
